Several memorial donations were made in Memory of Charlie Raines. One of Charlie Raines daughters is a friend of Coleen, a co-founder of Little Paws. The family asked if they could donated to our rescue group in Charlie memory. This would be the first for our group to have a donation from a memorial. Little Paws Dog rescue wishs to thank Charlie Raines family for thinking about us.

Several memorial donations were made in Memory of Gretchen E. (Fowler) Wullner. Gretchen loved all animals, especially . Two of her daughters are leaders in Little Paws Dog Rescue, Coleen is a co-founder and Debbie is a co-chair of Fundraising. Gretchen was so proud of her girls and their involvement in LPDR. Gretchen lived the last part of her life at Kingston Hill and Crestview Acres. In her room she had a LPDR bag that Debbie gave her and it hung from her dresser. People would ask her the story behind the bag. She couldn't stop talking about our rescue group and how we took in dogs and let them live with us in our homes verses a shelter. Every now and then Coleen would take a dog into the Crestview Acres nursing home or Kingston Hill to visit. There isn't anything that makes people happier then a dog that they can pet or just have lay next to them. Gretchen would be so proud to know how many family and friends sent a memorial donation in her memory and that these donations were able to help the rescue dogs.

A memorial donation was made in honor of Berniece (Tritle) Callanan. She loved hearing the stories about her daughter's foster dogs and always believed her rescue work was fun. Berniece will be missed by her family and friends.

A memorial donation was made in memory of Maggie- much loved Great Dane of Chuck & Sue Mincks. Maggie GD

She died of Lymphoma at 4 yrs of age...so sad.  Maggie was a rescue dog. She hit the jack pot when Chuck & Sue fell in love and adopted her.  They really are the best dog parents any animal could ever have.  To say that they were heartbroken is an understatement.  She was in remission for around 5 months and when she came out, the new chemo just couldn't stop the cancer. They had to let her go from their loving arms-to God's...you know God has dogs too! :)
With much love, sweet Maggie-Jan Erceg
