Pete is a lap dog at heart. He enjoys his morning walks, but will find the first available lap when we return and cozy up for a LONG nap. He is mild mannered and housebroken. He is great with kids and other dogs. He will play with small neighbor dogs and roll over on his back while they climb all over him.
He's a little overweight, so we've been watching his diet carefully and cutting back on treats, because he will eat any crumb or speck of food he finds. He is not food aggressive though and will let us take his bowl away without an issue.
He knows basic obedience commands and is eager to please.
He sheds quite a bit, but regular brushing and bathing helps a lot. He doesn’t love his baths, but he will tolerate them and stands well in the tub.
Pete is an easy going, lovable dog that needs a caring family to adopt him.
