Slider a Chihuahua-Terrier mix, male, neutered, 2 years old.
At 18 lbs, Slider doesn't fit in the palm of your hand, like the little Chihuahuas, but he fits perfectly in your lap, where he loves to be. At 2 years old, he still has delightful puppy exuberance -- when it's time for dinner, or a walk, or chewing his stuffed toys. Quick to learn and eager to please, Slider knows heel, sit, down, stay, wait, beg, rollover AND he rides in a basket on the back of a bike! With the help of a professional trainer and lots of socialization work, Slider's over-protectiveness and stranger aggression are greatly reduced. (He comes with a life-time contract with BarkBusters trainer.) Slider will quickly come to love you and your family but needs continued work controlling his impulses towards strangers and other animals. Super affectionate, Slider will reward your consistent, patient training efforts with tons of love and companionship.
