We are a state licensed, 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue group consisting of foster homes that take in strays, owner surrenders, and dogs from other shelters. We are a no-kill rescue. All of our dogs are in a home environment and not a kenneled facility. This enables us to be able to assess each animal individually and place it in a lifelong home best suited for the dog. Our adoption process allows us to help you find a dog that is the best match for you and your family.

Microchipping Available;

 The cost is $15 and includes the microchip registration fee. No appointment necessary, just bring in your dog(s) anytime during the adoption day hours. Please bring proof of ownership, such as, veterinary records or adoption contract. These clinics will be held at Petsmart in Cedar Rapids and Petco in Coralville. Please check our events page for days and time of the event.

FARMERS MARKET

 We have a booth at the Cedar Rapids Farmers Market again this season. Please stop by and see us. We will have great crafts and baked goods for sale. All proceeds from the sales will go to Little Paws Dog Rescue to care for dogs currently with us and future dogs we are able to save. See our events page for dates and time.
